Week 86, Assignment 2 for Take A Class With Dave and Dave.

Heat. We’ve played with colors, we’ve mimicked the 20th century greats, but now I call on you to bring the heat. Summer is ending, and with it goes the scorching hot days. Lets take this break before Indian Summer to show us what heat means to you.

I’ve done shots about heat and hot before and as much as I like this shot, I didn’t want to repeat it, plus lots of people used flames or fire to represent heat. I wanted to do something different.

This past Sunday we attended a birthday party for one of Savanah’s friends. As she was playing in the pool with the rest of the kids, I was trying to find some shade to get out of the sun. I also noticed the condensation on my bottle of water caused by the heat. I thought using water to show how hot it was might be a novel idea so that is what I did.

For me, at least, it works. I can look at the bottle and know just about how hot it is based on the condensation.
